Mr. Eddie Roy Jones

Mr. Eddie Roy Jones - loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle,

Cousin and Dearest friend has crossed over in transition and is now in

the presence of God to receive the keys to his new home, his mansion

in heaven.

Eddie Roy Jones, 60, peacefully departed this life on the morning

of April 16, 2020 at St Luke hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Born on March 18, 1960 to Annie Belle and Willie Freeman Jones

Sr in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He was second youngest in a

family of eight which included seven boys and one girl. Eddie

spent his younger formative years and received his schooling in

Michigan City, IN. He relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a

young man in his 20’s. There, he took on work and became

trained as a professional window cleaner before he was met with

health issues that rendered him physically disabled for the

remainder of his life. He met and married his wife Nancy Schilling

in Milwaukee on June 14, 1992. And to that union were two

daughters, Pamela, and April Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings- Priscilla

(Sista), Raymond, and James (Nookie) Jones, his first daughter

Pamela Jones (infant), special niece Michelle Jones, a cherished

1 st cousin who helped raise him Ora Lee Jenkins, and his loving

wife Nancy Schilling-Jones. He leaves to cherish his memory, his

loving daughter April Jones and three grandchildren- Jamari,

Jayla, and Zaria of Oshkosh, WI; Four brothers- Bobby (Diana)

Jones of Omaha, NE; Johnny (Lorraine) Jones of South Bend, IN;

Willie Jr (Tina) Jones of Milwaukee, WI; and Raphael (Valeria)

Ashanti of Pensacola, FL. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,

and friends.

The crown jewels of his life remain his only beloved child,

daughter April and his grandchildren. Eddie Roy was held in high

regard for his, generosity, and loving spirit. He will be deeply

missed. His legacy will live forever in the hearts and minds of those he loved.
