Mother Edna Corean (Beason) Banks

Banks, Edna Corean (Nee Beason ) Age 88, passed November 3, 2015. In 1949 she married Phil Elderson Banks. This union was blessed with three children, Toni, Mark, and Twyla. Edna was the proprietor, and the funeral director of The Banks Funeral Home for 49 years. She also worked as a social worker and administrator to a group home for wayward youth. She was an active member within her church and local community. Edna is survived by her children, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many family members and friends. Visitation Friday, November 13, 3-7PM at Triad Ministries Church of God in Christ. 2249 N. Martin Luther King Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53212. Funeral Services Saturday November 14, 2015 at the Mason Temple Church of God in Christ, 6098 N. 37th St, Milwaukee, WI 53209. Visitation 9-11AM, Funeral at 11AM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Banks Funeral Services. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery in Oak Creek, WI.
