Esther M. Loper was born November 20, 1937, to Emma Adkins (Owens) and Foster Adkins, Sr. in Casscoe, Arkansas. She was the seventh of ten children. In 1956 she moved to Milwaukee and continued her education at North Division High School where she graduated in 1957. Esther retired from Milwaukee Public Schools after 30 years of service. She loved her church and served in several capacities over the years including the evangelism ministry, vacation bible school, and the mother’s board....
